IBM Launches Digital Asset Haven for Banks and Governments
IBM has unveiled its Digital Asset Haven platform, designed to provide banks and government agencies with compliant blockchain infrastructure. Developed in collaboration with custody specialist Dfns, the solution integrates custody, governance controls, and lifecycle automation across more than 40 blockchains.
The platform emphasizes security and policy enforcement, targeting regulated deployments with a SaaS rollout planned before year-end. "Clients can now expand into digital assets with IBM's security and reliability," said Tom McPherson, General Manager of IBM Z and LinuxONE.
Digital Asset Haven reflects growing institutional demand for blockchain tools that mirror traditional financial infrastructure. Its architecture embeds key residency controls and compliance features directly into asset management workflows.
